Those of you who read our 2017 Year-end Update may remember a mention of a new addition to the NuID family. Well, today we are excited to share the details: Ibrahim Pataudi has joined the team as our VP of Business Development! Ibrahim will be focused on building long-term relationships with clients, partners, and other organizations as we grow our footprint in the digital identity and security ecosystem.

Ibrahim has a diverse background in sales, finance, and international policy. He recently spent two years with marketing and data management startup TapFwd, where he led the development and execution of their sales process and helped build out their first sales team. His experience bringing a new B2B technology product to market will be extremely valuable here at NuID. As VP of Business Development, Ibrahim will work closely with businesses that are looking to use innovative technology to address their information security and digital identity needs. He will also help forge relationships with the non-profit organizations, standards groups, and regulatory and legislative bodies that play a part in shaping the digital identity landscape.

Ibrahim has previously held roles as an analyst for a boutique capital management firm, a researcher at the Institute of Strategic Studies in London, and as an aide to the Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue in Pakistan. He is also an advisor to an edtech non-profit and intermittently contributes policy opinion pieces to the New York Times affiliate newspaper in Pakistan. He is a passionate polo player and, he says: "like any self-respecting Pakistani, I’m completely cricket crazy."

Ibrahim shared his excitement on joining NuID:

"I am equal parts enamored by the revolutionary potential of NuID’s technology, as well as the capability of the impressive team that Locke and Nolan have already managed to build out. NuID has a unique opportunity to empower individuals while solving a tangible business need in information security. I’m very excited to help make that happen."
